  • Notes 
    • Frederick sued his two aunts for his share of the Culbert inheritance, and won. He used the funds to build the Phillipstown Garage. Initially it was used to both assemble and sell automobiles, but later he just sold them. He ran a generator in the garage that provided electricity to his home a few blocks away. After he died in 1943, his son, Edward, took over the business. [ref. Judy Culbert Darcy and file, Frederick_A_Culbert_Lawsuit_1911-08-16.]
