DIED. Yesterday morning, in the 41st year of her age, of a lingering illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude and resignation, Mrs. Ann Culbert, wife of John Culbert. The funeral will take place this afternoon, at 4 o’clock, from her late residence, 195 Hester St. The friends and acquaintance of the family are particularly requested to attend without further invitation.

Note: A church was built at the corner of Rutgers and Henry Sts., but burials ended there about 1820 or so. After that burials were made at the Rutgers Cemetery on Houston St. until 1860. From 1865-1866 the Rutgers burials were transfered to Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, into Lot Nos. 147-170.
