    • Mr. Winfred Russell Pendergraff, 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 12, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.  He was born October 18, 1926 in Providence, KY to the late George Farrell and Nellie Keeney Pendergraff.  He is also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.  Mr. Pendergraff was a member of Richland Baptist Church.  He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and Army where he served in World War II as well as a member of the American Legion Post # 6 in Madisonville.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Esther Cunningham Pendergraff of Madisonville; one daughter, Nancy (Garnett) Moore of Madisonville; three sons, Gary (Jo) Pendergraff of Fulton, MO, James (Paula) Pendergraff of Madisonville and Ricky Pendergraff of Nebo, KY; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Lantrip officiating.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.  Graveside Honor Services will be conducted by American Legion Post #6 of Madisonville, American Legion Post #2 of Earlington and VFW Post #5480 of Madisonville.
