- Raymond A. Rosenberger, 48 [b. 1968], of Quakertown, son of Richard A. Rosenberger and Priscilla (Taylor) Rosenberger was injured in a bicycle accident Thursday, June 29 and died at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, on Thursday July 6. A promising student and writer, Ray graduated from Quakertown High School and Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. He later pursued graduate studies in classical Greek literature at The University of Pennsylvania and Boston University. His onset of schizophrenia in his twenties made Ray's life progressively more difficult but he continued to write and publish intermittently. He was proud to have worked at the Widener Library of Harvard University as he was one of the champions of the written word. He stayed passionately engaged in literature, films and music. Those who knew Ray in his youth remember him as a bright, friendly and witty student. Active and passionate in his areas of interest he loved to discuss and argue the intricacies of the arts. Survivors: He is survived by brothers; Bryan, wife Lois; and Arthur, wife Joann; and sister, Susan Culbert, husband Douglas; six nieces and nephews and three grand nieces and nephews.
